Bio:
A senior and renowned theatre artist from West Bengal, I have had extensive experience with the legendary theatre group Bohurupee,. Over the years, I have worked with several eminent theatre personalities, honing my craft in diverse styles anf forms of theatre. Since 1978, I have been a regular actor in radio plays broadcast by All India Radio, Kolkata. I have also been regularly involved with Living Sound, a studio led by Srabanti Majumder, where I have performed and and written numerous plays. I was a popular presenter on the FM channel of All India Radio. I have served as a professor at both Jadavpur University Bengali Dept and Rabindrabharati University Theatrwe Dept. and I am now retired. In addition to theatre, I have acted in many films and television plays and I have authored numerous books.
