Ask Question
Are the calls during your show actually live or pre-recorded?

Both, depending on the segment. During most open hours and listener interaction sessions, calls are live. That’s where the real magic happens—the unpredictability, the laughter, the emotion. But for contests, sensitive interviews, or segments that need cleaner audio, we often pre-record them just a few minutes before airing. It helps us manage time, filter out background noise, and sometimes edit for length or clarity. But we never fake emotions or script conversations. That’s against everything Big Live stands for. If you hear a touching story or a spontaneous joke, trust me—it was real. Our listeners are smart—they can tell when something’s fake. So even when we pre-record, we keep the spirit raw and unrehearsed.
