Can RJs influence public opinion? How do you handle that responsibility?

“Absolutely, RJs do have a certain influence on public opinion — it’s a big part of our role. We connect with listeners daily, share stories, music, and sometimes even opinions. That’s why it’s super important to be responsible with what we say.

For me, handling that responsibility means always being honest, respectful, and mindful of the impact my words can have. I try to promote positivity, understanding, and open-mindedness. If I ever touch on sensitive topics, I do my homework, present diverse perspectives, and encourage my listeners to think critically.

At the end of the day, I see myself not just as an entertainer, but as someone who can inspire and influence in a positive way. That’s a responsibility I take seriously, because words can inspire change — for good or bad.”
