How do you maintain your privacy as an RJ?

Being a voice on air doesn’t mean giving up your personal life. I’m careful about what I share publicly and keep boundaries between my on-air persona and my real self. At Big Live, privacy is respected, and we’re trained on how to handle listener curiosity or social media attention. Sometimes listeners want to know everything—where you live, what you do off-air—but I gently remind them that some things are private, and that’s okay. Maintaining privacy protects your mental health and helps you stay authentic on air without external pressure. Social media is both a tool and a challenge; I use it to engage but never to overshare. In the end, being an RJ means being a trusted voice—not a public figure—and that balance keeps me grounded.
