If you could interview anyone from history on your radio show, who would it be?
What a question, Saania...
If I could interview anyone from history on my radio show, I think it would have to be Mahatma Gandhi ji. Iād love to ask him how, in a world full of hatred and violence, he managed to stay so deeply committed to his values of Satya (truth) and Ahimsa (non-violence). How did he find the strength to not only live by those principles, but also inspire and mobilize millions of others to follow them?
I actually remember a time after college when I was in a bit of a slump, doing nothing much for around three months, and I ended up picking up My Experiments with Truth, Gandhi's autobiography. It really moved me. Later on, I also read a few books that challenged some of his ideas, which gave me a broader perspective.
But yes, no doubt about it ā Gandhi would make a fascinating guest on my show.
