What inspired to become a rj?

Hey Shanti!

To be honest… I never planned to become an RJ.

But maybe, just maybe, it was destiny speaking… literally.

As a child, I had a severe stammering problem, I could barely complete a sentence.

But around the age of 12–13, something inside me said,

“If I don’t fix this now, it’ll become a bigger problem later.”

So I began reading aloud, working on my diction, pronunciation, and most importantly—my fear.

It wasn’t a problem with my tongue, it was a fear in my mind.

Slowly… I fell in love with the power of voice.

And from there, this love turned into purpose.

And maybe that’s what led me to radio.

So if someone deserves credit, it’s that 12-year-old Uday

who refused to let fear win and chose to fight back with sound.

Thank you for reminding me of that version of myself, Shanti.

That kid still whispers in my headphones every day.
