With so much misinformation and trolling happening on social media these days, do you think stricter regulations are needed, or should it remain a space of free expression?

Hey Balkrishna Bab… that’s a really important question for our society today. See, trolling and misinformation are not new, they’ve always existed. The only difference is that now, with the internet and social media, they spread faster than wildfire. So yes, part of the responsibility lies with us: how much we engage with social media, and how much importance we give it.

But when things cross the line, like with deepfakes or dangerous lies, I do feel stricter actions are needed. For regular trolling and casual misinformation though, maybe the wiser choice is not to engage at all. Tricky question indeed, but worth thinking about!
