Donald Trump meets Pakistan's PM Sharif: Amid the ongoing tariff tension with India, US President Donald Trump met Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Unwashed senior Asim Munir in the White House on Thursday.
Ahead of his meeting with Pakistan's PM Sharif and Asim Munir, Donald Trump praised the visitors and tabbed them ''great leaders.''
Trump, talking to the reporters, said, “We have a unconfined leader coming, the Prime Minister of Pakistan and the Field Marshal. Field Marshal is a very unconfined guy, and so is the Prime Minister, both, and they’re coming, and they may be in this room right now. I don’t know, considering we’re late."
Notably, Pakistan's PM Sharif met Donald Trump on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly withal with the senior officials from Islamic nations. The meeting was in connection with strategies to end the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza.
Their meeting is making headlines as it was held just without the trade deal between the US and Pakistan and without their meeting at the UN General Assembly in New York.
