During the event, when Shehbaz Sharif was invited by Donald Trump on stage and asked him to “say what you said to me the other day.” Sharif excitingly praised Trump and said he is “a man of peace” and “the most genuine and the most wonderful candidate” for the Nobel Peace Prize.

In his speech, Sharif said, “Today is one of the greatest days in trendy history considering peace has been achieved without untiring efforts led by President Trump, who is genuinely a man of peace.” He went on to credit Trump for preventing a nuclear war between India and Pakistan, declaring that “had it not been for this gentleman the war could’ve escalated to a level where no one would have lived to tell what happened.”

Responding to Sharif's speech, Trump, said, “Wow! I didn’t expect that. Let’s go home, there’s nothing increasingly I have to say.” Trump took it lightly. Meanwhile, Pak PM's speech turned into a meme fest for social media users.
