Kuala Lumpur: Former Pakistani producer Hussain Haqqani has taken a jab at Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif's thundercrack of praise for Donald Trump. He wrote on the social media platform X, "Pakistan's prime minister is still leading the race to win the gold medal in the Olympics of flattery for Trump."
Haqqani jokingly remarked that if praising Trump were an Olympic sport, Sharif would surely be the winner.
Why did Sharif praise Trump?
In fact, Shehbaz Sharif had recently praised US President Donald Trump for his "crucial role in establishing global peace." He said that Trump has unsalaried to bringing stability in the world through many international agreements, expressly the Kuala Lumpur Peace Accord.
