Half of Pakistan Cant Afford Bread! Shahbaz and Munir Must Face Shame After World Bank Report

Published: Jun 06, 2025

New Delhi: The latest example of how hollow Pakistan has become from within has once again become public in the latest report of the World Bank. Pakistan, which runs a terrorist factory against India, is in the headlines on the international stage for its economic plight. According to the latest report of the World Bank, about 44.7% of Pakistan's population is now living below the poverty line. The World Bank believes that 16.5% of the total population are such people who have reached the extreme level of poverty. They are not able to earn even $3 a day.

World Bank report shows mirror to Pakistan

These latest figures of the World Bank about Pakistan not only testify to the failure of Shahbaz Sharif and Army Chief Amis Munir to deal with the economic crisis but also show Pakistan the mirror. Pakistan, which is dependent on international loans and relief packages, still has a priority of nurturing terrorism and not the development of the country. Whether it is the IMF or friendly countries like China, Pakistan is getting loans worth billions of dollars from everywhere. Despite this, there has been no concrete improvement in the standard of living of the people there.

Pakistanis are not able to earn Rs 1200 per day

More than half of Pakistan's population is now surviving on less than Rs 1200 per day, which makes it clear that the ruling class's plans are far from the ground reality. Instead of development, Pakistan's biggest concern today is to support its army and terrorism. In recent years, Pakistan has continuously increased the army's budget. Not only this, areas like education and health have been ignored there. This year too, Pakistan's army has been given a lot of money in the budget, while 39.8 million people in the country are suffering from extreme poverty.

India’s Double Challenge: Hunger and Terror

From India's perspective, this situation in Pakistan is a double challenge for us. On the one hand, there is a public struggling with hunger and unemployment, which can be attracted towards fundamentalism. On the other hand, there is an army that nurtures terrorism and promotes anti-India activities to divert attention from its failures. Strategy of spreading hatred against India and supporting terrorists.
