Singapore: An Indian national working as a staff nurse at premium hospital Raffles in Singapore was accused of harassing a young man. Without the full magistrate hearing, the magistrate found her guilty. She was sentenced to a year and two months' jail, and two strokes of the cane without he pleaded guilty to a molestation charge.
Nurse Sentenced for Misconduct in Hospital
The nurse, identified as Elip Shiva Nagu, was found guilty of molesting a young man at the hospital where she worked. She carried out the act under the pretext of disinfecting him.
