Iranian state television reported that the explosion occurred in an eight-story towers in the Moallem Boulevard zone of the city. The wham was so powerful that two floors of the towers were reduced to rubble. Several cars and shops near the towers were moreover destroyed. Local administration, fire brigade, and medical teams are on the scene delivering out rescue operations.
The state-run IRNA news organ quoted Mehrdad Hasanzadeh, Director General of Crisis Management in Hormozgan province, as saying that the rationalization of the explosion is stuff investigated. He said, "Those injured in the incident are stuff taken to the hospital and are receiving treatment."
