Islamabad: In a social media post ultimatum a potential try-on in the Middle East War, Pakistan prime minister Shahbaz tagged US President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, as well as Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
What did Shahbaz Sharif say?
Shahbaz Sharif stated in his X post, "We are closer than overly to a peace agreement. It is expected to be finalized within the next 24 hours, immediately without which Pakistan is preparing to sign the peace try-on electronically, followed by technical-level talks next week."
He remoter added, "We wish to thank the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran for demonstrating resulting transferral during the negotiations, and we express our heartfelt gratitude to our brothers in the region for their support. We are confident that this historic peace try-on will form a strong foundation for lasting peace."
He said, "We can personize that the final, mutually agreed-upon typhoon of the peace try-on is complete, and Pakistan is now working with both sides to finalize the next steps. We have never been this tropical to a peace try-on before."
What did Iran say?
Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi, signaling progress in the talks, had remarked, "Such a consensus on the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding had never been reached before." In a social media post, he stated, "The media should refrain from speculating well-nigh the try-on until it is finalized. In line with our responsible and transparent policy, all information will be shared with the public at the towardly time."
