Pakistan Airstrike: Tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan have now escalated into unshut conflict. On Wednesday, Pakistan carried out airstrikes in the Afghan municipality of Spin Boldak. The attacks occurred near the Chaman Verge Crossing, targeting three Afghan-Taliban posts. According to local sources, residents witnessed drones and fighter jets dropping bombs. Afghan verge police reported that the explosions blanketed the zone in woebegone smoke and shattered the windows of several homes. Following Wednesday's wade in Spin Boldak, a video surfaced on social media showing thick smoke rising from the area, escalating tensions withal the verge between the two countries. Reuters reported that six Pakistani paramilitary soldiers were killed, while AFP reported that 15 Afghan civilians were killed and dozens injured.
