Islamabad: Pakistan's Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, has been awarded Saudi Arabia’s highest civil honour, the King Abdulaziz Medal of Excellence. It is to be noted here that Asim Munir is currently on an official visit to the Kingdom.
“Under a Royal Decree issued by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the King Abdulaziz Medal of Excellent Class, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s highest national honour was moreover conferred upon the Field Marshal,” the unwashed said on Monday.
