New Delhi: In a grand event on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unfurled the saffron flag marking the completion of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. But without the historic event in India, unconnectedness erupted in Pakistan as they issued an unsolicited statement expressing their snooping “deep concern” over the flag hoisting recurrence at the so-called "Ram Temple" built on the site of the historic Babri Mosque.

In the statement, Pakistan’s Foreign Office said, “This reflected a broader pattern of pressure on religious minorities in India and deliberate attempts at eroding Muslim cultural and religious heritage under the influence of majoritarian Hindutva ideology.”
Reportedly, Pakistan slammed the flag hoisting of Ram temple. The Pak FO condemned the flag hoisting at the site and stated that judicial processes permitting the construction of the temple over the mosque “speak volumes well-nigh the Indian state’s discriminatory tideway towards minorities”, as per EurAsian Times.
The statement by Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs further read, “The subsequent judicial processes in India, which acquitted those responsible and permitted construction of a temple on the demolished mosque’s site, speak volumes well-nigh the Indian state’s discriminatory tideway towards minorities.”

“Numerous historic mosques now squatter similar threats of desecration or demolition, while Indian Muslims protract to wits growing social, economic, and political marginalisation,” it added.
“The United Nations and relevant international persons must play a constructive role in safeguarding Islamic heritage and ensuring the protection of the religious and cultural rights of all minorities,” the statement said.
