According to local sources, the shootings in Mississippi occurred at three variegated locations. Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott confirmed in a social media post that a suspect had been apprehended. While Scott did not specify the word-for-word number of victims in his post, WTVA reported that six people were killed in the shootings.
The sheriff later told the media outlet that the incidents occurred in and virtually the municipality of West Point, near the Alabama border.
