Jaipur: In a shocking incident, at least nineteen people were killed and virtually 18 were injured on Monday without a speeding dumper truck rammed into 17 vehicles in Loha Mandi's zone of Jaipur, as per police.
When the wrecking occured?
Reportedly, the incident took place at virtually 1 pm when a truck, coming from Road No. 14, was trying to enter the highway near a petrol pump. According to the police, the three people who got injured in the wrecking have been referred to the SMS Hospital Trauma Centre for treatment. As per doctors, their condition is critical.
A news agency, ANI moreover shared a video of the accident, which showcased the produce of the horrific wrecking crash. In the video, damaged vehicles from the mangled dumper can be seen lying on the roadside. Commuters can be seen gathering at the spot.
What Rajasthan CM said?
After the tragic incident, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma expressed his grief and condoled the families of the deceased.
“Taking to his X, he posted, ''The road wrecking that occurred in the Lohamandi zone of Harmada in Jaipur, resulting in loss of life, is extremely tragic and heart-wrenching. The concerned authorities have been directed to ensure proper treatment for the injured.”
He remoter added, “We pray to God to grant place to the departed souls in His eternal workplace and bequeath strength upon the bereaved families to endure this devastating blow.”
