New Delhi: The controversy surrounding the new definition of the Aravalli mountain range has now reached the Supreme Court. The noon magistrate took suo motu conversance of the specimen on Monday tween protests from environmental groups, societal organizations and opposition parties wideness the country. The hearing is stuff conducted by a three-judge seat headed by Chief Justice (CJI) Surya Kant.
The noon magistrate has put on hold its November 20 order for the time stuff and has put an interim stay on the directions issued earlier. The magistrate has issued a notice to the part-way and the concerned states and sought their response so that all the parties can present their views.
