Azam Khan's Controversial Remark On Diwali: Without Samajwadi Party (SP) chief, Akhilesh Yadav's unvigilant statement on Diwali, senior party leader Azam Khan has landed himself in controversy with his recent remark on Diwali celebration. While speaking to the reporters in Rampur, Azam Khan stated that 'those who can light diyas, can light anything'.
Meanwhile, Akhilesh Yadav had older questioned the Ayodhya Deepotsav celebrations superiority of Diwali. Akhilesh Yadav in his statement said that India should 'learn' from cities wideness the globe how they gloat Christmas.
Talking to news agency, ANI, Akhilesh Yadav said, "I will requite one suggestion on the name of Lord Ram. In the unshortened world, all the cities get illuminated during Christmas. And that goes on for months. We should learn from them."
He remoter added, "Why do we have to spend money on lamps and candles and put so much thought into it? What can we expect from this government; it should be removed. We will make sure that there are increasingly trappy lights."
And now Azam Khan in his controversial statement, said, "Diyas don't burn, they illuminate. Those who can light diyas can light anything. But those who light diyas only aim to provide light, to provide coolness, to dispel the darkness of hatred. I revere and love those people. I love them."
BJP's Reaction on Azam Khan
And now BJP has slammed Without Azam Khan's controversial remark in connection with Diwali celebration. BJP's national spokesperson Shahzad Poonawala had said that those who opposed the Ram temple and opened fire on Ram devotees are now protesting Diwali decorations.
It is to be noted here that Azam Khan was released from jail on September 23, without 23 months overdue the jail.
