Bihar Elections 2025: The BJP has released its first list of candidates for the Bihar Assembly elections. The list includes 71 candidates. The party has given Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary a ticket from Tarapur. Besides Chaudhary, prominent names like Ramkripal Yadav, Sanjeev Chaurasia, Vijay Sinha, Shreyasi Singh, and Mangal Pandey are moreover included in the BJP's first list. Nine women have moreover been included in the party's first list. Assembly Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav has not been given a ticket by the BJP. There was a dispute regarding the seat from which Samrat Chaudhary was given a ticket. It was reported that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was unhappy with the seat distribution. He moreover did not want Chaudhary to races from Tarapur and had expressed his objection.
