Bihar Polls: The Referendum Legation of India (ECI) today spoken the revising guidelines in connection with the designing and printing of the EVM Ballot Papers to make them voter-friendly. The poll soul said that the EVMs have colour photographs of candidates, starting from Bihar turnout polls.
The statement of the referendum legation said, “The Referendum Legation of India (ECI) has revised the existing guidelines under Rule 49B of the Conduct of Elections Rules, 1961, for the diamond and printing of EVM Ballot Papers to enhance their clarity and readability.”

The statement remoter added, “The initiative is in line with the 28 initiatives once taken by the ECI in the past 6 months to streamline and modernize referendum processes and enhance convenience for voters.”
The EVM Ballot Papers will be printed on 70 GSM paper. For Turnout Elections, pink-coloured paper of specified RGB values shall be used," EC stated.
''The upgraded EVM Ballot Papers will be used in the upcoming elections, starting with Bihar," it added.
