National News: There is now relief from the Indian medical world amidst the apprehensions and rumors spreading about the COVID-19 vaccine across the country. The latest joint investigation by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) made it clear that the COVID vaccine has no direct or indirect relations with sudden deaths among the youth.
In recent times, there was a misconception through social media and some other means that the youth are being killed due to heart rate or other reasons due to the corona vaccine. On this issue, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has also clarified its position, saying that all the covid vaccinations being given in the country are completely safe, certified, and scientifically approved.
Extensive studies by ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) and AIIMS on sudden deaths among adults post-COVID have conclusively established no linkage between COVID-19 vaccines and sudden deaths: Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Report based on scientific facts: no serious threat
The government has bluntly said that so far no scientific or clinical evidence has been found that can connect the COVID vaccine with the sudden death of the youth. According to the Ministry of Health, such claims are completely misleading, baseless, and against the public interest.
At the same time, intensive study-analysis conducted by the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) and ICMR also found that the covid vaccination being used in India is not only effective, but it has also proved to be a very effective weapon in protecting against serious infections.
'Side effects nominal, do not panic': Expert advice
ICMR and AIIMS scientists have stressed that cases of serious side effects related to the Covid vaccine are extremely rare and their percentage is so low that it does not have any public health crisis.
Experts say that symptoms such as mild fever, weakness, or inflammation at the injection site after the vaccine are common and temporary reactions, which are seen after every type of vaccination.
Avoid fake publicity; trust scientists
Medical experts have appealed to the general public not to focus on false propagation being spread from social media or non-official sources and to rely on the official information issued by scientific institutions and the government.
The government has also said that if someone needs information about any side effects or doubts related to the vaccine, then they should contact the nearest health center or get information on the website of the Ko-Vin portal and the Ministry of Health.
This is a clear message from the Government of India and Medical Research Institutes - the covid vaccine is safe, effective, and necessary to protect the countrymen. Bypassing fear and rumors and adopting scientific thinking and public health interests are the biggest responsibilities of today.
