Sensational news has come from Coimbatore, where a 20-year-old postgraduate student was in a car with her boyfriend when three miscreants targeted her on Sunday night.
What police said?
According to the police, the car was parked at Brindavan Nagar, overdue the Coimbatore Airport, virtually 10:30 pm when three men on a moped tapped the windshield of the car and attacked the boyfriend with weapons. They threatened the woman and took her on a moped to a deserted place a kilometer yonder and raped her repeatedly.
When was the victim found?
The injured boyfriend informed the Peelamedu police, who started a search at 11 pm. The victim was recovered at virtually 4 am, but the attackers had fled from the spot. He left the stolen moped.
