New Delhi: The Delhi magistrate has granted interim ladle to Delhi riots conspiracy accused and former JNU scholar Umar Khalid for 14 days to shepherd his sister's wedding. Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Sameer Bajpai said that Khalid will remain on ladle from December 16 to December 29.
In its statement, the magistrate said, "Considering the fact that the marriage is of the real sister of the applicant, the using is unliable and the write-in is granted interim ladle from 16.12.2025 to 29.12.2025 on furnishing of personal yoke of Rs.20,000/- with two sureties of the like value subject to the pursuit conditions."
