Did Irans Missiles Hit Adanis Haifa Port? Heres the Truth

Published: Jun 16, 2025

Missile rain has intensified between Israel and Iran. After the killing of several Iranian army officials and nuclear scientists in Israel, Iran has rained more than 100 missiles in the latest attack. Meanwhile, it is being claimed on social media that Israel's Haifa port has been destroyed in the latest Iranian attack. At the same time, Russian media has quoted Indian sources as saying that Haifa port has not suffered any damage. According to the report, Haifa port is completely safe at present and normal activities are going on from there. Iran has launched a missile attack in the city of Haifa but it has not caused any damage to the port.

According to the report of Sputnik News, the claim of sources to damage the oil terminal of Haifa port is also fake. While Haifa port is operated by Adani Ports Company, the oil terminal is operated by a Chinese company. Earlier, Adani Group CFO Jugshinder Robby Singh had also said that Haifa Port is fully operational even after the Iranian missile attack. Haifa Port is in touch with Israel's Transport Ministry to provide security.

Many people killed in Iranian attack in Israel

Meanwhile, Iran again launched a series of missile attacks on Monday targeting central and northern Israel, killing at least three people and injuring several others. Iran said it fired about 100 missiles and vowed to carry out further retaliatory strikes against Israel's surprise attack on its nuclear enrichment centers and military leadership last Friday. On the fourth day of the conflict between the two countries, loud explosions were heard in Tel Aviv in the morning, which was probably due to Israel's defense system thwarting Iran's missile attacks.

Officials in the central Israeli city of Petah Tikva said Iranian missiles hit a residential building, burning down walls, shattering window panes and causing heavy damage to several apartments. Rescue teams are present at the site of the incident, although no information has been given about the number of casualties. Israel's emergency service 'Magan David Adom' said that two women and a man were killed in missile attacks at four places in central Israel. With this, the death toll in Israel has risen to at least 17.

'Revolutionary Guard' intelligence chief dies

'Magan David Adom' said that 74 other rescued injured have been admitted to the hospital, out of which the condition of a 30-year-old woman is critical. Rescue workers are searching for people trapped under the rubble of houses destroyed in missile attacks. Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Sunday that if Israel's attacks on Iran stop, "our retaliatory attacks will also stop." A day earlier, Iran's Revolutionary Guard took a tough stand after Israeli attacks targeted Iran's oil refineries and government buildings, vowing that the upcoming attacks would be "more powerful, severe, precise and devastating than previous attacks." Iran said on Sunday that the intelligence chief of the Revolutionary Guard was killed in the Israeli attack. The death toll in Iran since Friday has risen to 224. Iranian health officials said 1,277 people were injured, although they did not say how many of them were civilians and how many were military officers. Human rights groups, which prepare casualty reports on their own, said the death toll given by the Iranian government is much lower than the reality.
