New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted the champions of the Women’s World Cup at his residence at Lok Kalyan Marg on November 5. During the meeting, PM Modi interacted and congratulated the Indian women's cricket team for their historic World Cup victory, in the finals.
It is to be noted here that Indian women's cricket team emerged victorious without defeating South Africa in the final by 52 runs, held at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
