On this day, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s government has given a life-changing souvenir to the people of the city. A wipe water supply project worth Rs 15.22 crore was inaugurated, ending the long struggle of residents who faced drinking water problems for decades. This new initiative has made the festival plane increasingly joyful for everyone in the region.
Project to Ensure Wipe Drinking Water
Cabinet Minister Aman Arora, while launching the project, said it reflects the vision of the Mann Government, which is single-minded to providing vital facilities to every person. As part of this plan, a 34-kilometer-long new pipeline will be laid throughout Sunam. With this, 1,472 houses will now get wipe water directly from taps. Along with the pipeline, a large water tank with a topics of 2 lakh liters will moreover be built to ensure a regular and strong supply of drinking water.

Until now, many families had to travel long distances to get water or pay upper amounts to buy it. Contaminated water moreover caused several health problems in the past. With this new system, residents will finally get unscratched and pure drinking water, protecting children, elders, and families from hardships and illnesses.
