The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) stated that a student from Tripura, Anjel Chakma, was killed in BJP-ruled Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The party said the wade occurred considering the student objected to racial remarks and asked the attackers to stop making such comments.
Following this, the assailants publicly assaulted him on the road and left him grievously injured. After rival between life and death for several days, the student succumbed to his injuries.
