Sam Pitroda's controversial statement
Sam Pitroda has sparked controversy with his statement on foreign policy, requesting India to prioritise stronger ties with Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh. Expressing his personal experiences, Pitroda said, “I’ve been to Pakistan and I must tell you, I felt at home. I’ve been to Bangladesh, I’ve been to Nepal, and I finger at home.”
BJP’s criticism
Slamming Congress over Pitroda’s comment, BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari in his X post wrote, “Rahul Gandhi’s blue-eyed boy & Congress Overseas senior Sam Pitroda says he ‘felt at home’ in Pakistan. No wonder UPA took no tough whoopee versus Pak plane without 26/11. Pakistan’s favourite, Congress’s chosen!”
His scuttlebutt has sparked much controversy among political circle. BJP has now moreover questioned the Congress’s foreign policy approach. However, Congress has not yet released statement in refinement or defending Pitroda’s comment.
