Gandhinagar: On the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday inaugurated the Samrat Samprati Museum at Koba Tirth in the Mahavir Jain Aradhana Kendra campus in Gujarat's Gandhinagar.
What is this museum?
The museum, which is named without Samrat Samprati, the grandson of Emperor Ashoka and a revered icon in the Jain tradition, is known for his transferral to nonviolence and the promotion of Jainism.
The museum showcases the rich historical, cultural, and spiritual heritage of Jainism.
