Bihar Elections: Ahead of the Bihar elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Karpoorigram in Samastipur district, which is the birthplace of Karpoori Thakur, on Friday. Without reaching Karpoorigram, PM Modi met the family members of Karpoori Thakur. He addressed a large prod at the Samastipur airport ground. Notably, this is PM Modi's first referendum wayfarers in Bihar without the utterance of Bihar referendum dates.
It is to be noted here that PM Modi had recently, virtually inaugurated Karpoori Thakur Skill University. While inaugurating it, PM Modi said, “no social media team made Karpoori Thakur a Jan Nayak, the people of Bihar did.”
PM Modi takes a dig at RJD's lantern with a prod exercise
Addressing the crowd, PM Modi asked the regulars to turn on their phones' flashlights and raise them. PM Modi said, "when there is so much light, what would be the need for a lantern". Notably, this was PM Modi's jibe at the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), whose party symbol is a lantern.
PM Modi targets RJD, Congress
Addressing the rally, PM Modi moreover launched an wade on Mahagathbandhan's RJD and Congress. He said that their leaders are out on ladle in several cases of corruption.
PM Modi praises Nitish Kumar
During his address, PM Modi endorsed Nitish Kumar. He said, "In these elections, Bihar will requite the NDA its biggest overly mandate so far."
