New Delhi: After the historic victory of BJP-led Mahayuti in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) senior Raj Thackeray spoke well-nigh the referendum results and tabbed it as one between “immense financial power and the power of validity versus Shivshakti”.
Talking well-nigh the BMC polls, BJP emerged victorious in 1,425 seats out of a total of 2,869 seats. The Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena got a total 399 seats while Ajit Pawar-led NCP unsober 167 seats. Raj Thackeray’s syndication member Shiv Sena (UBT) got 155 seats, while his MNS party unsober only 13 seats.
Taking to his X handle, MNS senior congratulated the newly elected corporators and tabbed it the poll as a wrestle of “immense financial power and the power of validity versus Shivshakti”.

As for what went wrong, what was left undone, where we fell short, and what needs to be done, we will all come together for the wringer and action,'' he said.
