National News: Summer is going to return to the plains of North India with full force once again. The strong monsoon activity that was seen last week has now cooled down, and due to this, the weather has again become dry and hot. Due to the activation of Western Disturbance and lack of rainfall, the temperature is expected to go above 40 degrees Celsius in many places.
The heat wave will increase due to the slow pace of monsoon
The monsoon will not be active again for the next few days, due to which hot and dry weather will prevail in states like Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh. During this time, the Meteorological Department has clearly said that the temperature will continue to rise and there is no hope of relief until the speed of the monsoon increases.
Monsoon will progress rapidly again from June 12
If weather experts are to be believed, the weather of the entire North and Central India will remain clear till June 11, but from June 12, the monsoon will again progress rapidly. These monsoon winds will soon reach various districts of Bihar, Jharkhand, and Uttar Pradesh, due to which the series of rains will start and the temperature will start falling.
Pre-monsoon rains had given relief, but now the heat will return
Pre-monsoon rains in the last April and May months had helped save the whole country from the havoc of heat. Especially in Kerala, the monsoon had arrived eight days before its scheduled time, which reduced the duration of heat there considerably. Due to the low pressure formed in the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal, the monsoon winds had moved at a good speed, due to which the weather remained cool.
Now the strength of dry and hot winds is increasing
At present, the western disturbance is not active in the hilly areas, but dry and hot winds from the west are rapidly moving towards North India. These winds have become an obstacle in the path of the monsoon, due to which the rain has stopped. The heat has increased in Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh, and dust storms are also expected in many places.
Temperatures likely to cross 40 degrees in Bihar and Rajasthan
There is no sign of rain in most areas of Bihar till June 12, due to which the districts here will remain dry and hot. In Rajasthan, the temperature may reach above 40 degrees Celsius in many places, which will cause severe heat for the people there. The weather will also remain dry in Madhya Pradesh, although light rain is expected in the southern districts for the next few days.
The heat has returned to North India due to the slow pace of the monsoon. There is no possibility of rain for the next week, due to which the temperature will remain much higher than normal. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon will be active again after June 12, and the heat wave will reduce. At present, dry and hot winds have made the weather harsh in the entire region, which will cause discomfort to the people.
