Nalanda (Biharsharif): A major wrecking took place on Tuesday in the pearly held near Maghada Shitala temple in Deepnagar police station zone of the district. A sudden stampede tapped out during the puja, in which 8 women are reported to have lost their lives. The number of deaths is said to be increasing at the local level, although there is no official confirmation from the wardship yet. After the incident, there was unconnectedness in the unshortened area. A large number of people were seen running here and there and many injured were lying on the ground. The injured were immediately sent to the hospital.
How did the stampede happen?

One woman said that the circumstances were such that there was no endangerment to recover.

According to local people, the number of deaths is increasing and many women have fallen prey to it. Increasingly than a dozen people are said to be injured. The injured have been admitted to nearby health centers including Model Hospital in Nalanda, where they are undergoing treatment.
