The CBI statement said, "CBI had issued a red notice versus Lakhwinder Kumar through Interpol. Without stuff extradited from the US, he reached India on October 25, 2025, where Haryana Police took him into custody at Delhi Airport." Kumar had been delivering out criminal activities using international bases for years, which posed a threat to national security.
Gurugram police will take Sunil Sardana into custody today
In a related development, Gurugram Police will detain flipside prominent gangster, Sunil Sardana, at the same airport today (October 26).
