Dehradun: A bus with several passengers on workbench tumbled into a deep gorge near Bhikiyasain in Uttarakhand’s Almora district on Tuesday morning. According to the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), quoted by ANI, six to seven people are believed to have lost their lives in the incident. Rescue units from the SDRF were sent to the spot right without authorities received an emergency alert. Those injured in the crash have been taken to the Government Hospital in Bhikiyasain for treatment.
“Rescue teams have been dispatched to the spot. There are reports of some fatalities,” Almora SSP Devendra Pincha confirmed.
