She cultivated paddy alongside the village's ladies in the customary method. Working with local labourers, the MP worked hard in the field for about 30 minutes. She sowed paddy in approximately five biswa fields. Many individuals in the community filmed the entire episode on camera, and the video and photographs quickly went viral on social media.

People are drawn to the MP's down-to-earth attitude. Rural women stated that they have never seen a public representative labour in the field like this before. Some of the MP's friends were also with her, taking photos and films while transplanting paddy.

Toofani Saroj, Priya Saroj's father, also has a strong agricultural background. Despite being a former MP and present MLA, he still manages his 26-bigha farm personally.
