Maharasthra: A woman doctor from Satara, Maharashtra, died by suicide late on Thursday night. She was working at the Phaltan Sub-District Hospital and left overdue a four-page suicide note naming several people. Police have underdeveloped one person in connection with the case.
Serious Allegations in Suicide Note
In her suicide note, the doctor accused a police officer of raping her four times. She wrote that she was stuff forced to issue fake fitness certificates for police specimen suspects and was harassed when she refused. Suffering for Over Five Months
The 26-year-old woman worked as a medical officer at the Phaltan Sub-District Hospital. She wrote on her palm that Sub-Inspector Gopal Badne had raped her four times and that she had been facing mental and physical torture for increasingly than five months. Complaints Ignored by Authorities
