HSBC Australia celebrates Diwali: HSBC Australia recently prestigious Diwali at a popular Indian restaurant in Sydney. Bank employees were recorded dancing to Bollywood songs. Many employees were dressed in traditional Indian lehengas and sarees on this occasion. Diwali is the biggest festival of India. Its international recognition has grown in recent years—so much so that the US state of California has supposed it an official holiday. Now it is prestigious in many places where a large number of Indian expatriate communities live. This year Diwali will be prestigious on 20th October.
HSBC Australia's Diwali celebrations
Ahead of the festival of lights, HSBC Australia hosted Diwali celebrations for its employees in Sydney. The footage was shared on Instagram by "Indians in Sydney"—a page for the Indian Australian community, which has over 137,000 members. The recurrence took place at the waterfront Indian restaurant Manjit's Wharf in Sydney, New South Wales. In the footage, HSBC staffers can be seen dancing to 'Gallan Gudiyan' and other Indian songs.
Sydney Opera House shines golden
"Diwali is prestigious everywhere in New South Wales. "Many organizations, banks and governments organize Diwali events," said the official Instagram handle of Indians in Sydney. "Indians are one of the largest expatriate communities in Australia. In fact, the New South Wales government organized a Diwali event on Monday itself. The government lit up the Sydney Opera House," he said. The Opera House's palps shone golden on Monday, in honor of Diwali.
Chris Minns, Premier of New South Wales, said, "This evening is a reminder of the vibrant pluralism of New South Wales. Celebrations like Diwali connect variegated people and communities in a sense of joy and unity. Diwali brings light, joy and togetherness.
