Iran: According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), a 4.1 magnitude earthquake struck west of Bandar Abbas, a municipality in Iran, on Saturday morning. Earthquake tremors were felt in the morning. At present, no major forfeiture or loss of life has been reported. The southern part of Iran is considered zippy in terms of seismic activities; hence, earthquakes of summery to moderate intensity occur here from time to time.
