Israel: The bravery of Indian soldiers was remembered on Monday in the Israeli municipality of Haifa. During World War I, these soldiers, risking their lives, liberated Haifa from the Ottoman Empire. Mayor Yahav explained that since childhood, he and other students were taught that Haifa was liberated by the British Army.
