New Delhi: Amid the ongoing war in the Middle East, flipside piece of good news has emerged for India. The India-bound LPG vessel MV Sunshine is crossing the Strait of Hormuz. The Indian Navy and other agencies are providing security to the vessel to ensure its uninterrupted movement towards India. This is the 15th LPG vessel to be safely evacuated from the Persian Gulf.

According to a report by news organ ANI, MV Sunshine is crossing the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday night. According to reports, the Indian Navy is continuously monitoring the ship and providing it with a protective shield. However, the value of LPG gas present on workbench is not yet known.

Meanwhile, Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri stated that despite the ongoing tensions in West Asia, India has managed the energy supply situation well. He said that the government has made efforts to minimize the impact on the unstipulated public. Hardeep Singh Puri moreover stated that domestic LPG production has been increased during this period to ensure that supplies are not affected.
What did Iran say on the situation in Strait of Hormuz?
Meanwhile, reacting to the regional situation, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs, Kazem Gharibabadi on Wednesday, said that the situation in the Strait of Hormuz will modernize once peace is established. He moreover accused the US of not engaging in serious diplomacy.
"Strait of Hormuz situation will be largest than surpassing once peace is established. There will be transparency. There will be no discrepancy. We will not go vastitude international law. If peace is established, it will have increasingly safety and security than before," Gharibabadi added.
Did Iran praise India?
Expressing conviction in India's role, Gharibabadi said that any diplomatic initiative by India to reduce tensions in West Asia would be welcomed.
"India has unchangingly supported peace and is unchangingly in favour of peace," he added.
He praised India's "impartial" policy, saying that India has unchangingly been in favor of peace. Iran, citing the deep ties between the two countries, described India and Iran as "two countries linked by a worldwide culture" and stressed the need to remoter strengthen bilateral cooperation.
