As this is UK PM Starmer’s first official visit to India, he was warmly welcomed by PM Modi at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai. Notably, the two nation moreover signed a major self-ruling trade try-on in July. The UK PM is moreover accompanied by the UK trade delegation to India, including 125 members.

On UK PM Starmer’s inrush in Mumbai, PM Modi tabbed the visit as historic. PM Modi in his X post wrote, "Welcome Prime Minister Keir Starmer on your historic first visit to India with the largest overly trade delegation from the UK. Looking forward to our meeting tomorrow for up-and-coming our shared vision of a stronger, mutually prosperous future."
Today, the two leaders are likely to shepherd the CEO Forum and the 6th edition of the Global Fintech Fest in Mumbai. Notably, this is going to provide multiple opportunities for engagement with industry leaders and policymakers from both nations.
