Afghan forces launched simultaneous attacks in several areas of Pakistan late last night: Afghan media and the Taliban confirmed the attacks. Former US diplomat Zalmay Khalilzad said that "fierce fighting" is standing between the two sides withal the Durand Line. Afghan media reported heavy gunfire and attacks. According to initial reports, at least 12 Pakistani soldiers were killed and several others captured.
According to a Tolo News report, Afghan Taliban forces attacked the verge areas of Pakistan from eight places. These include Pakistani positions in the Achin, Spin Ghar, and Lalpura districts of Nangarhar; the Shorabak and Maroof districts of Kandahar; and various areas of Zabul province.
12 Pakistani soldiers killed in Helmand, six captured working in Kandahar
The 7th Frontier Corps of the Azm Corps has reported the suppuration of 12 Pakistani soldiers in assaults on Pakistani military outposts in the Bahramcha district of Helmand province.

6 Pakistani soldiers were killed
Afghan security sources said that 6 Pakistani soldiers were killed and 2 were taken prisoner in the wade in Mailwand district of Kandahar. The Afghan side claims that these attacks were carried out in response to the air strikes carried out by Pakistan in Kabul and Paktia, which targeted civil areas.
The Taliban stated that the attacks targeted military installations used for drone strikes. According to the Afghan military, several Pakistani soldiers fled from posts, and some posts unprotected fire. The Taliban had previously described the Pakistani airstrikes in Kabul as a violation of the sovereignty of the Afghan Republic and vowed retaliation.
Attacks on Pakistani positions
The 201 Khalid bin Walid Unwashed Corps said in a printing release that it launched attacks on Pakistani positions near the Durand Line in Nangarhar and Kunar provinces in response to Pakistani airstrikes, Tolo News reported. Hurriyat Radio English reported that 12 Pakistani soldiers were killed in Helmand and 6 were captured in Kandahar. Afghan forces moreover captured a military post during this operation. Seven Pakistani militia posts were destroyed in the Loi Band zone of the Maroof district.
This wade is considered a major strategic step for the Afghan unwashed and the Taliban and has remoter increased regional tensions.
