Washington: Amid the long-simmering US-Iran tensions in the Middle East, news of significant relief has emerged. The two countries have well-set to a two-week ceasefire, which is expected to halt attacks for the time being. What did Trump say?
US President Donald Trump regarding the armistice said that, "Based on conversations with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, of Pakistan, and wherein they requested that I hold off the treasonous gravity stuff sent tonight to Iran, and subject to the Islamic Republic of Iran like-minded to the COMPLETE, IMMEDIATE, and SAFE OPENING of the Strait of Hormuz, I stipulate to suspend the bombing and wade of Iran for a period of two weeks," Trump wrote.
