Cough Syrup Specimen Updates: In Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, a specimen of death of children has come to light due to drinking phlegm syrup. Expressing deep sorrow over the tragedy, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that the deaths of children in Chhindwara due to unprepossessed syrup are extremely painful. Investigations Launched in Several States
Following the deaths in Chhindwara and Rajasthan, investigations into cough syrup have begun in other states as well.
