Rescue Operations in Dehradun
Reportedly, the wardship has started the rescue and relief operations in the region. Meanwhile, NDRF and SDRF teams havebeen reportedly deployed in the inflowing unauthentic areas. Due to the heavy rainfall in the region, authorities have spoken closure of schools from matriculation 1 to 12.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is constantly monitoring the situation. ''Some shops have been damaged due to heavy rain in Sahastradhara, Dehradun, late last night. District administration, SDRF, and police have reached the spot and are engaged in relief and rescue operations. Heavy rainfall in Dehradun, reportedly lead to Tamsa river swell and inundated the Tapkeshwar Mahadev temple, which is one of the city's most popular shrines.
Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple Submerged
Due to heavy rains, the Tamsa river is in spate and the Tapkeshwar Mahadev temple has been submerged. Talking to ANI, temple priest Acharya Bipin Joshi said, "The river started flowing heavily since 5 AM, the unshortened temple premises were submerged... This kind of situation had not taken place in a very long time... Losses have been incurred at various places... People should stave going near rivers at this time... The sanctum sanctorum of the temple is safe... No human loss has been reported as of now..."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah today spoke to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami over the phone and asked well-nigh the current situation welling due to heavy rains in Uttarakhand.
