Chennai: The Election Commission has spoken the dates for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. Elections in Tamil Nadu will be held on April 23. The results of the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections will be supposed on May 4. The Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly comprises a total of 234 seats.
Elections for all these seats are set to take place in a single phase. It is worth noting that the tenure of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly extends until May 10. Tamil Nadu has a total of 56 million voters, comprising 27 million male voters and 28 million sexuality voters. Additionally, there are 7,617 voters belonging to the third gender.

Addressing a printing conference, Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar stated that the Commission had visited the poll-bound states. He noted, "We sought suggestions from all political parties. I would like to request to the youth to participate enthusiastically in the voting process." Gyanesh Kumar added, "I would moreover like to make a special request to our youth and first-time voters. My dear friends, you are well-nigh to fulfill one of the most significant responsibilities of your lives."
